Ladies! If you are a curly girl like me. Then you know how much maintenance goes into maintaining your natural hair and hairline. We go from rocking our natural curls to wearing braids along with many other protective styles. I personally tend to opt for box braids or twists at least twice a year but all of that changed about a year ago. As I am getting older (fabulously 43 now), I’ve realized that my hair is more prone to breakage, particularly my edges. I love pulling my hair up into a bun and using my favorite gel to make my “baby hairs” pop or making sure I get a micro braid on every little strand of hair. But these protective styles have wrecked havoc on my delicate hairline until now…

Let me tell you! I was so excited at the opportunity to try Edge Naturale’s Follicle Enhancer cream. I noticed about a year ago that not only were my edges turning gray (ugh!) but they were also thinning out. Since then, I have been on the hunt for a safe and natural way to get them back and along came the chance to try Edge Naturale.

Jar of Edge Naturale Follicle Enhancer for yur hairline and your edges.

It is easy too apply, just make sure your hair is clean and free of other products, then apply with your fingertips. One great thing about this product it that it’s not just for your edges. You can use it on any problem areas you have. I love the smell! It has a pepper-minty smell that leaves the skin on your head feeling clean and a little tingly (a good tingle though). The cream is lightweight and it does not leave your hair feeling greasy. It also holds your hair in place, not quite like a gel would, but it worked good enough for me especially since I am trying to preserve my edges.

Ingredients in Edge Naturale that help with enhancing your hairline and your edges.

Edge Naturale is made with the good stuff such as peppermint oil, argan oil, and avacado oil. A little bit goes a long way! I typically apply it once a day, usually in the morning. This product is definitely an essential part of my morning hair routine. I know you are dying to see how Edge Naturale worked for me. Well wait no more. Here are my before and after pics!

Now I know you might be saying, “I don’t see a difference”. But as I said, these baby hairs are growing in gray! Here is a closeup of my edges. I literally took this picture the day before posting this article. You can see the difference in my hairline even in the pictures above. It’s not as far back on the sides where my hair was thinning out the most. I apply this cream to my entire hairline as well as other areas on my head that I have noticed some thinning or breakage. Overall, I would say that this product is a must-have! I will continue to use it as part of my daily hair care routine. A 2 oz. sized jar will run you about $30 and you’ll pay bout $54 for a 4 oz. jar. But like I said, a little goes a long way!
